I was thinking it would do the opposite.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13306754150860679811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4470805731558813695.post-86647034446410178292009-06-04T10:47:21.872-06:002009-06-04T10:47:21.872-06:00Hi, there! Neat stuff!

Anyway, I just noticed your comment about using willow sticks that you stripped the bark off of. That's actually a method for propogating trees! You may have unknowingly given the cuttings a perfect rooting environment, so if they are showing signs of life, yank those babies out!

(I hope I don't sound bossy...I just wanted to share.)

Keep up the good work!Katy F.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4470805731558813695.post-17830269559789751332009-05-30T23:07:05.537-06:002009-05-30T23:07:05.537-06:00Nah, I'm not really wishing for bears, just the th...Nah, I'm not really wishing for bears, just the thought of stealthy big cats scare me. I read that they can have a huge home range (over 300 sq mi sometimes) so I'm going to try to pretend that it was just passing by and doesn't really live here or maybe it was never really here. Ignorance is bliss, right?? I do keep the cats in at night and the dogs are usually inside as well anyway. I was thinking about it earlier, I've probably camped and hiked in lion country lots of time and never even thought about it, so I'm going to try not to be paranoid. I couldn't help it last night, I locked the dog door and it was such a pain this morning when the dog wanted out and then back in, before I was up (please nobody tell me bad stories that will make me nervous about the dog door, I don't think I want to know.)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13306754150860679811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4470805731558813695.post-66851858139736003502009-05-30T08:21:07.644-06:002009-05-30T08:21:07.644-06:00We had a cougar roaming around our little AZ town ...We had a cougar roaming around our little AZ town last year. Between that and the coyotes and rattlesnakes, I pretty much stay inside after dark, and never let my dogs go out alone after dusk! I feel much more relaxed in my WA home where we don't have to worry about any predators.Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4470805731558813695.post-59350408257360522062009-05-30T04:30:24.365-06:002009-05-30T04:30:24.365-06:00OOOH that is scary. Mom has them and they destroy everything in their sight including front doors, windows and cars.Ribbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460673212389110633noreply@blogger.com
